Danielle and her 10-year-old daughter, Macy, lived in fear. For years, Danielle’s partner and Macy’s father, Mike, controlled them through violence. In court, Mike fought the orders of protection, but expert cross-examination forced him to admit to his abuse. The judge granted protection for Danielle and Macy, ordered her car’s return, and jailed Mike on a $20,000 cash bond. Now, Danielle’s attorney is helping her secure sole custody of Macy.
