It’s National Pro Bono Week!
Legal Aid of Western Missouri and its Volunteer Attorney Project want to take this opportunity to thank all our attorney volunteers for their dedication to providing pro bono services and applaud their outstanding contributions. Last year alone, they donated more than 6,000 hours of legal services. From our solo practitioners to our large law firm participants, we are fortunate to have such an exceptional group of attorneys in our community who are willing to volunteer their time and experience to those in need.

Every October since 2009, legal organizations across America participate in the National Celebration of Pro Bono to draw attention to the need for pro bono participation and to thank those who give their time throughout the year. This year the American Bar Association has selected the week of October 25 as National Pro Bono Week
